Providing Therapy Services in New York, Oregon, and Massachusetts
Hi and welcome!
I work with individuals who find themselves at a crossroads between who they want to be and who they think they’re “supposed” to be, especially as it relates to cultural, familial or societal expectations. Think the “good child,” the perfectionist, the high-achiever, or the one who everyone else leans on for support. My understanding of intergenerational and cultural dynamics contextualizes and informs my approach to mental health and healing, especially when it comes to deeply-rooted internalized beliefs that can lead to feeling chronically conflicted, anxious, depressed or behind. I offer a space to unpack how patterns passed down through generations – whether spoken or unspoken – can impact our internal worlds, emotional lives, relationships, and even the way we measure our self-worth.
If you’re someone who is tired of holding it all together and ready to figure out what's going on underneath, let’s chat!
Approach
My style is eclectic, strengths-based and tailored to each individual as needed. I pull from a mix of CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, and particularly gravitate towards an Internal Family Systems (IFS) framework, meaning we'll get to know the different parts of you - the overachiever, the peacekeeper, the inner critic - and what each part is trying to tell you. Rather than trying to silence or fix these parts, we'll get curious about them together.
Book an Appointment or Consult
I know it can be hard to find the right therapist. I offer a free 20-minute consultation where we can get to know each other and decide together if we’re a good fit, no commitment required.
